Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning to support the kitchen’s cooking process
Assist in cooking and assembling menu items according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
Support the kitchen team during busy service times by efficiently completing meal preparation tasks
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, equipment use, and sanitation practices
Skills
Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and meal assembly processes
Understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
Robust teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
Familiarity with serving protocols and restaurant operations is a plus
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively during shifts
Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
