Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Meat Cutter and Packager to join our team. This role involves preparing, cutting, and packaging high-quality meat products while ensuring food safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a background in food handling, butchery, and food preparation, with a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in a rapid-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specified standards and customer orders
Package meat products securely for retail or wholesale distribution
Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Operate cutting tools and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment throughout the shift
Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and noting product expiration dates




Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or team members
Follow all safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working setting

Skills
Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in butchery or meat preparation
Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food handling procedures
Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices
Ability to operate knives, saws, and packaging machinery safely
Excellent attention to detail for exact cutting and packaging tasks
Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as needed
Customer service skills for engaging positively with clients or team members
Kitchen experience or prior work in food preparation environments is highly desirable

Pay: $17.60 per hour
