Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook and counter staff full time and part time with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and food safety to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring excellent service for our customers. The position also includes responsibilities related to food handling and maintaining cleanliness standards. A background in the food industry, restaurant experience, or kitchen experience is highly valued. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Serve food promptly and accurately to customers or servers as needed
Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination or accidents
Support meal preparation during busy periods to ensure timely service




Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as required

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and servers
Familiarity with restaurant service protocols and customer service principles
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving supplies or equipment
Basic knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices for quality assurance

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
