Duties
Safely operate delivery trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight efficiently across designated routes
Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy machinery, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight
Verify delivery orders, inspect vehicles for safety issues, and perform basic automotive repairs as needed to maintain optimal vehicle performance
Communicate clearly with dispatch teams to confirm delivery schedules and address any logistical challenges promptly
Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and vehicles, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
Assist in warehouse operations by preparing freight for delivery,
organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation
Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods with professionalism, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar machinery preferred
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations in transportation
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
Robust communication skills to coordinate with team members and customers effectively
Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and operate heavy machinery safely
Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is highly desirable
