Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a machine operator in IG unit manufacturing to fabricate products and spacers for use in IG unit assembly. You will be responsible for supporting various stages of production such as intercept I-3 operations, glass washer operattions, spacer assembly setter, grill inserts for IG units and oven press operattions. Duties
Produce standard and custom sealed units
Observe gauges, computer printouts and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions and make adjustments as necessary.
Maintain shift log of production and other data
Operate process control machinery to cut glass or assemble glass window units
Clean and maintain process machinery
Ensure adequate levels of oil, soap, talc, or other materials used in machine production of glass
Install grills in IG spacer frames
Use forklifts safely to move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies within the facility
Perform quality checks on products, verifying proper labeling, and appearance
Assist with basic mechanical tasks and troubleshooting equipment issues to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate records of production quantities, sanitation activities, and safety checks
