Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and efficiently check them in and out using dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic.
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and coordinate patient communications promptly.
Verify patient insurance information and process billing using electronic medical records systems while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Prepare treatment rooms and assist dental providers during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
Handle appointment scheduling,



cancellations, and follow-up reminders to optimize practice workflow.
Maintain a clean, organized front desk area while ensuring all office equipment is functioning properly.

Qualifications
Prior experience working as a dental receptionist or in a medical office environment is highly preferred.
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix; familiarity with Epic is a plus.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care procedures.
Excellent communication skills for managing front desk operations and patient interactions.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) systems and multi-line phone systems.
Knowledge of office procedures, insurance processing, and appointment scheduling best practices.
