Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will involve working in a fast-paced setting while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
Handle cash and perform cash handling duties accurately, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding menu items.
Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products served.




Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and enhance their experience.

Experience
Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not required.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
Familiarity with cash handling and cashiering practices is beneficial.
Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 44.0 per week
