Job Title: Indian Cuisine Chef – North & South Indian Cuisine

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Indian Cuisine Chef with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in both North and South Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate should be skilled in preparing authentic Indian dishes while maintaining consistent taste, quality, presentation, and food-safety standards.

Responsibilities:
Prepare a wide variety of authentic North and South Indian dishes.
Prepare curries, biryanis, tandoori items, naan and other Indian breads, dosas, idlis, sambar, chutneys, and vegetarian dishes.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, marinades, and traditional cooking techniques.
Maintain consistent food quality, taste, portion sizes, and presentation.
Assist with menu planning and daily food preparation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace standards.
Manage food preparation efficiently and minimize food waste.
Work well with kitchen staff in a quick-paced environment.
Train or guide other kitchen team members when needed.

Qualifications:




Proven professional experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef.
Strong experience in both North Indian and South Indian cooking.
Knowledge of traditional Indian cooking methods and spices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Robust attention to cleanliness, consistency, and food quality.
Ability to work in a busy kitchen environment.

Experience: 3+ years of qualified Indian restaurant/kitchen experience preferred.
