Coast Tire Inc. is seeking a skilled Block 3 OR Red Seal Automotive Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and proficiency with various tools and schematics. Duties
Diagnose vehicle issues using mechanical knowledge and schematics
Perform repairs including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
Assemble parts and components as needed for vehicle repairs or upgrades
Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of power tools
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly




Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle

Requirements
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician.
Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics reading
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Experience with welding and assembly is desirable
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced workplace

All new hires must have a clear criminal background and driving abstract.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$33.00 per hour
