Job Summary

We are hiring General Labour candidates for a seasonal contract opportunity at an outdoor peat moss production plant in the Little Bullhead / Mill Creek, Manitoba area. This is a hands-on manufacturing and operations role suited to reliable workers who enjoy physical work, outdoor environments, and being part of a practical, team-oriented production setting.

This General Labour role offers steady full-time-style shifts, immediate start potential, and the prospect to gain experience in agricultural production, plant operations, material handling, and equipment-assisted processing. The work setting is active, fast-paced, and team-based, with clear daily direction and support from onsite leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Perform general labour duties such as sweeping, shoveling, cleaning, and maintaining production areas.
Operate or assist with plant equipment,



including bagging equipment used to fill peat moss bags.
Place fill bags onto machines and monitor the bagging process.
Move peat moss from piles into bins and refill product as needed.
Handle pallets of finished peat moss and assist with loading trucks.
Support safe, efficient production flow in an outdoor plant setting.

Compensation and Additional Details:
Pay rate: $24.00 per hour.
Straight day shift available: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 4:00pm.
Straight night shift available: Monday to Friday, 4:00pm to 2:00am.
Weekend shift available: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Site is approximately 2 hours from Winnipeg.
Reliable personal transportation or carpool is required, as the site is not transit accessible.
