Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welders Helper/Labourer to join our energetic manufacturing team. In this role, you will assist skilled welders and machine operators in preparing materials, handling tools, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production setting, working with a variety of advanced equipment including CNC plasma cutters, radial arm drill press, basic hand tools, hydraulic press machines. Your energy and commitment will contribute directly to the quality and precision of our manufacturing processes.

Duties
Assist welders and machinists with setup, material handling, and clean-up tasks to ensure smooth workflow
Operate hand tools and basic machinery under supervision to support fabrication activities
Support the use of CNC equipment , plasma cutters,
Help with blueprint reading and measurement using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications
Conduct quality inspections on finished components to verify adherence to standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials
Support assembly tasks as directed, ensuring parts are correctly positioned for welding or further processing





Qualifications
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and understanding technical drawings
Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools and basic machining equipment
Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
Experience or familiarity with welding processes is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of safety procedures related to crane operation, forklift handling, and machine use
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality inspection standards
Ability to follow instructions carefully while working efficiently in a team setting

Pay: $15.00-$25.30 per hour
