Security Professional

Location: Dawson Creek, BC

Securiguard Services is currently seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Professionals for a temporary full-time assignment in Dawson Creek. We are looking for mature individuals who take pride in their work, demonstrate robust judgment, and are committed to maintaining a safe and secure workplace.

This assignment offers consistent hours on a long-term project and provides an excellent opportunity to join one of Canada's leading security organizations.

Key Responsibilities
Control and monitor access to designated areas
Verify and document authorized personnel and visitors
Conduct regular patrols and security inspections
Maintain a qualified and visible security presence
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
Communicate effectively with staff, visitors, contractors, and the public
Complete accurate reports, logs, and documentation
Follow established site procedures and company policies
Work independently while maintaining a high standard of service
Support a secure, secure, and welcoming environment at all times

Qualifications
Valid BC Security Worker Licence




Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities
Basic computer skills and report-writing experience
Ability to remain calm and skilled in challenging situations
Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous security, customer service, industrial, healthcare, or public-facing experience is considered an asset
Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
Must be able to pass a criminal record check
