Maintenance Coordinator

Grande Prairie Care Centre, a professionally operated care facility, is currently accepting applications for a skilled Maintenance Coordinator. If you’re passionate about keeping facilities in top shape, this role might be perfect for you!

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs, including working with vendors for troubleshooting heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
Handle minor plumbing and minor electrical work (changing fixtures for example).
Conduct minor painting, repair drywall, and maintain the building to a high visual standard
Coordinate vendors (plumber, electrical , hvac) as required

Requirements:
Collaborate effectively with management, staff, and others in the maintenance team.
Physically capable of lifting heavy objects up to 50lbs and working in out and indoors.
Possess basic building maintenance knowledge relating to heating, cooling, hot water systems.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.




Full time work Monday to Friday. Very limited overtime required.

Additional Skills:
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient with computer use and Windows Office and MS Outlook.
Solid troubleshooting and analytical abilities to help problems solve.
Any expertise in setting up a PC, modem, WIFI, would be an asset.

The successful applicant is required to undergo a criminal record check.

Preference will be given to candidates who indicate on their resume experience in the same or similar type of facility, such as hotel.
