Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Robotic Welding Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and maintaining robotic welding systems to ensure high-quality production of welded components. This role requires a solid understanding of welding processes, mechanical systems, and manufacturing operations to optimize robotic performance and efficiency. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic workplace focused on precision and safety.
Duties
Develop and modify robotic welding programs using CAD/CAM software to meet project specifications.
Set up and calibrate robotic welding equipment, including rigging and mechanical adjustments.
Operate and troubleshoot MIG, TIG, systems to support welding operations.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate fabrication.
Perform routine maintenance on robotic systems, including calibration with calipers and other hand tools.
Conduct quality inspections using calipers, schematics, and basic math calculations to ensure weld integrity.
Operate forklifts or cranes as needed for material handling within the manufacturing setting.
Follow safety protocols related to welding, rigging, crane operation,
and general manufacturing practices.
Skills
Proficiency in robotic welding programming and operation with experience in MIG and TIG welding processes.
Mechanical knowledge of machinery including press brakes, plasma cutters, and hand tools.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Experience with rigging, crane operation, machining, and assembly processes.
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for precise measurements.
Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Strong troubleshooting skills for robotic systems and welding equipment maintenance.
Prior experience with forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
