Infinity Drug Stores operates a group of independent community pharmacies in
the Windsor, Ontario area. We are currently looking for full time assistant/ technician for our location.
Pharmacy Technician/Assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician/Assistant include:
Patient greeting and confirmation of all patient prescription information prior to filling
Accurate data entry of patient care information
Third Party adjudication where required and necessary
Accurate dispensing of prescription medications
Ordering and Maintenance of pharmacy stock and inventory control
Handling enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and
necessary
Assisting with patient prescription pick up
Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists and in positive standing (Pharmacy Technician)
2 years experience as a Pharmacy Assistant required
Robust organization and communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Previous experience with PTS (Propel, Pharmaclick) an asset
