Landscape Construction Lead Hand

Location: Vancouver, BC
Start Date: As soon as possible

We are a Vancouver-based Landscape Construction company delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects. We’re looking for an experienced Landscape Lead Technician who takes pride in craftsmanship and is interested in long-term growth and leadership.

This is a hands-on role for someone ready to lead by example, support apprentices, and continue developing advanced construction skills. Apprenticeship sponsorship available.

What You’ll Do:
Lead landscape construction installations from layout to completion
Install paving stone systems (interlocking & large-format)
Build retaining walls (segmental block, natural stone, timber)
Install and manage site drainage systems
Perform carpentry, masonry, and planting work
Operate equipment (excavator, skid steer) and power tools
Read plans, manage layout, and maintain site safety and quality

What We’re Looking For:
4+ years of landscape installation experience
Robust understanding of base prep, grading, and construction math
Experience operating equipment and towing a trailer
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Ability to work outdoors in all weather




Robust communication skills in English
Red Seal or degree (or working toward) is an asset
Desire to grow into increased responsibility and leadership

Pay & Benefits:
$35–$42/hour, based on experience

Hours: Full-time | 35–45 hrs/week (seasonal variation)
Work Area: Almost exclusively in Vancouver, from time to time in Burnaby & Richmond
Preference given to Vancouver residents or those relocating.

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
