Are you a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced workplace? We're seeking an energetic Shift Leader at McDonald's located in Owen Sound, Ontario, to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure a smooth, productive, and welcoming guest experience.

Responsibilities
Coordinate People, Equipment, and Product to deliver outstanding Quality, Service, and Cleanliness and drive sales
Lead and energize your team by setting and rewarding shift targets
Complete pre-shift checklists and monitor guest flow, making adjustments as needed
Handle guest concerns through the guest recovery process, escalating serious issues to the GM
Ensure food safety, security, and cleanliness standards are met at all times
Support Department/General Managers through regular communication and coaching




Coach and develop crew with on-floor feedback
Ensure proper staffing, labour law compliance, and uniform/appearance standards
Execute sales and marketing promotions effectively

Qualifications
McDonald's experience preferred; any QSR/restaurant experience relevant
Robust communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a passion for guest experience
Note: this is a 100% on-floor, hands-on working position
Must complete (or be working toward) required leadership, food safety, and first aid certifications through McDonald's training program

Pay: $20.05 per hour

Owen Sound, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
