Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Refuse Collector to join our waste management team. This role involves collecting and transporting refuse from commercial to designated disposal site. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of heavy lifting, comfortable operating a vehicle, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe workplace for the community. Prior experience in waste collection is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.

Hours are as follows:

Sunday to Thursday overnight shift + Saturdays (Every Other Week)

Start times:

6PM -2:30AM

Job Duties:

-Collect organics in 32 gallon totes throughout the night and dispose of them at local transfer station
Must have DZ license and be able to drive a 26 foot straight truck
Follow routes determined by Driver Supervisor and ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and secure manner




Repeated bending, lifting and climbing in and out of the truck
Ability to repeatedly lift weights up to 50lbs
Report any operational, safety or route related issues to supervisor in a timely fashion
Physically fit
Must have positive, energetic attitude and willingness to work in varying conditions such as snow, rain and heat

Pay: $1,684.00 per week
