We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our team at Cora Breakfast & Lunch located in Preston Crossing, in preparing delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen workplace. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a dynamic breakfast setting, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks under the guidance of the kitchen supervisor.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety standards.
Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate food production.
Help with inventory stocking and stock rotation (F.I.F.O).
Experience:
Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation,
and kitchen operations.
Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a very rapid-paced kitchen setting.
Experience working in a restaurant or similar food service workplace is beneficial.
