Jones & Company Wine Merchants is Winnipeg's largest private wine store. Established in 1999, Jones & Company has grown to be the hub for some of the most distinct and sought after wines in Manitoba. We are also the education centre for wine in Manitoba with 5 Sommeliers serving our customers daily. We are looking to add to our energetic team of wine enthusiasts.
Responsibilities:
Represent Jones & Company by always providing the highest standard of customer service.
Support fellow team members by sharing knowledge and assisting in customer interactions.
Maintain a tidy and fully stocked retail floor.
Perform POS functions quickly and accurately.
Engage all customers upon their arrival in the store.
Provide knowledgeable advice on all Jones & Company programs, events, classes and special offers.
Address all customer concerns with professionalism keeping customer satisfaction as the top priority.
Partner with store management to address elevated concerns.
Qualifications:
WSET 2 or 3 Wine certification highly recommended.
Previous service industry experience preferred.
Proven ability to work well in a team workplace.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand and move for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast paced environment.
