General Supervisor Job Description

Responsibilities:

Must be familiar with carpentry, drywall,taping and painting and demolition. We're looking for someone who is capable of all the following. A handyman with commercial / residential experience.

Must be able to frame with metal and wood

Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
Estimate construction costs and manage project budgets
Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and other personnel involved in the project
Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

-Sets up new jobs and schedules trades. Deal with clients on a daily basis, must do demolition, and job site clean up. Co ordinate and schedule trades. Report to owner.

Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in construction management or a related field
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must speak english fluently




Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced setting
Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred
