Our well established and friendly client is looking to hire a Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant.
This chance is excellent for those who are keen to expand their knowledge in all areas of law and work in a fast-paced environment with supportive and knowledgeable colleagues.
While the role will primarily be litigation based, there are additional opportunities to gain experience in other areas of the law.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Opening and closing files
Drafting/proofreading, serving, and filing legal documents
Providing transcriptions
Managing day to day demands of multiple lawyers and their practices
Maintaining physical and electronic document systems
Preparing bills of costs
Calendar and email management
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in the legal industry
Experience in general commercial or civil litigation
Familiarity with Case Center
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to multi-task and manage your time in a rapid-paced environment
Attention to detail
Maintain strict confidentiality
Completion of a Legal Assistant , Paralegal or Law Clerk Diploma
