Job Description:

We are looking for a Billing Clerk to join our team in a Long-term Contract position. This opportunity is well suited to someone who is confident working with billing systems, enjoys maintaining accurate records, and communicates effectively with internal teams and customers. The successful candidate will support day-to-day billing activities, process invoices and payments, and help ensure financial information is entered correctly and on time.

Responsibilities:
Enter billing, invoice, and payment information into computerized systems with a high level of accuracy
Prepare, review, and issue invoices while ensuring supporting details are complete and properly recorded
Maintain organized billing records and update account information within accounting software platforms
Respond to billing-related questions from customers and internal stakeholders in a explicit and effective manner




Assist with payment processing and claim administration tasks in accordance with established procedures
Verify data for completeness and correct discrepancies to support accurate financial reporting
Work with corporate teams to help keep billing operations efficient and deadlines on track

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a billing, invoicing, or related clerical accounting role
Hands-on experience using accounting software systems and computerized billing tools
Robust data entry skills with a consistent focus on accuracy and detail
Explicit verbal and written communication skills for working with customers and internal teams
Experience supporting billing functions, invoice processing, and payment administration
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced office environment
Background in customer service and resolving billing inquiries professionally
