Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified, dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting physiotherapists in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will assist with patient care, maintain treatment areas, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the physiotherapy clinic.
Responsibilities
Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.
Help patients with exercises and mobility training under the guidance of a physiotherapist.
Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physiotherapist.
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress notes.
Educate patients on exercises and home care routines as directed by the physiotherapist.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and spaces.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures within the facility.
Qualifications
Previous experience in CLINICAL setting is preferred.
PTA/OTA DIPLOMA, ATHLETIC THERAPISTS, KINESIOLOGISTS
Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced clinical environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and team members
Compassionate and professional demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Ability to lift and assist patients as required during therapy sessions.
Willing to learn and participate in training programs
