Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Technician, located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The selected candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and regular maintenance, supervising installation, troubleshooting mechanical and automated systems, and conducting repairs as needed to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the maintenance team to improve operational efficiency and ensuring safety protocols are followed during all activities.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair tasks
Lead and supervise installation, and work with vendors and partners to complete projects.
Experience with Preventive Maintenance practices
Strong Troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical or system issues efficiently
Knowledge of Maintenance processes and procedures
Ability to work in a team-oriented setting as well as independently
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Customer oriented
Detail oriented
Relevant certifications or technical training in mechanical systems or related fields
Experience with automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) is mandatory
Travel within North America (Canada/USA)
Onsite support generally requires up to 75% of time on-site when projects are installing.
