Duties
Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport equipment throughout Manitoba
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
Load and unload equipment and materials using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, adhering to safety protocols
Maintain detailed logs of driving hours and maintenance records
Communicate effectively with customers and team members to coordinate deliveries




Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to keep trucks in optimal condition

Skills
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other loading machinery
Knowledge of secure handling procedures and safety regulations
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Robust understanding of road safety laws and compliance standards
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with customers and team members
Physical ability to load, unload, and handle materials and equipment efficiently
