Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure setting for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring that all security protocols are followed effectively.

Duties
Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action as necessary.
Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security measures are in place.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and employees while enforcing security policies.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures to promote a secure working setting.

Skills




Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
Familiarity with law enforcement protocols and emergency response procedures is highly desirable.
Experience with CCTV systems and monitoring equipment is a plus.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively report incidents and interact with others.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.

Licence/Certification:
First Aid Certification
Ontario Security Guard License
Must have working cellphone with unlimited or high data plan
Must have transportation to and from work.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.75 per hour
