Shape Professional Accountability. Our client, a respected regulatory organization, is seeking a Regulatory Prosecutor to join its legal team. This is an excellent prospect for a lawyer who enjoys advocacy, litigation, investigations, and professional discipline matters and mentoring staff. The VP has a succession plan in place for this role so any leadership background is an asset. In this role, you will prosecute complex professional conduct cases, work closely with investigators and regulatory staff, and appear before discipline committees and tribunals. This position offers meaningful work that directly supports public protection and professional accountability in Ontario. Key Responsibilities

Conduct and manage professional misconduct and disciplinary prosecutions. Assess investigative findings and provide legal advice regarding regulatory and enforcement matters. Prepare notices of hearing, pleadings, motions, written submissions, and settlement proposals. Examine and cross-examine witnesses at hearings. Advise investigators and internal stakeholders throughout the investigation and prosecution process.



Qualifications

Licensed lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. 10 plus years experience in professional regulation, administrative law, tribunal advocacy, regulatory enforcement, discipline proceedings, or litigationis a MUST Strong hearing advocacy, negotiation, and legal drafting skills. Ability to manage a busy caseload and work independently. Sound judgment, professionalism, and commitment to procedural fairness and public protection. Why Consider This Opportunity?
