Responsibilities
Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly.
Assist with food handling tasks as needed to support kitchen operations and food preparation.
Organize and store clean items properly to facilitate quick access for staff during busy service periods.
Follow safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use to ensure a safe working environment.
Support the kitchen team by helping with basic food prep tasks when required, such as stacking or organizing supplies.
Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely dishwashing during peak hours, contributing to smooth service flow.
Experience
Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Familiarity with cleaning procedures, food handling protocols, and kitchen safety standards is advantageous.
