Responsibilities:
Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
Organize and store items in designated warehouse locations, as directed.
Pick and pack items according to order specifications.
Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Store, count, weigh, open materials received.
Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Label boxes to identify materials.
Operate forklift or other vehicles on site only.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements, as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, shop and office areas.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Warehousing experience, preferably in mining workplace
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with commitment to a cooperative work workplace
Self-motivated, ability to work alone
Diligent, attention to detail
Significant computer skills, working within a computerized inventory control system
Physically fit and capable of performing tasks that involve heavy lifting
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, forklift, and narrow aisle truck
Must have valid drivers licence and reliable transportation
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 hour shifts
Pay Rate: 25$ per hour
