SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will have experience as a B-welder and vessel fitter. You will be required to weld pipe spools to various codes and specifications within a fabrication shop workplace. Your responsibilities include fitting and welding pressure vessels based on drawings provided, using techniques that adhere to all specifications for vessels, piping, and welding assembly.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must have a valid ALBERTA B-ticket
SMAW / GMAW / MCAW / GTAW weld processes
Read and interpret welding process specifications.
Layout, Fit, and weld components of piping spools
Weld within parameters of weld procedures
Maintain a protected and organized work environment
Rigging along with the use of overhead and jib cranes
Wages are negotiable with the Shop Foreman.
