As a full time Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design and development of electronic hardware critical to our scientific instruments. With over 5 years of experience and a BS in Electrical Engineering, your focus will be on schematic capture, multi-layer PCB layout with Altium Designer, and lifecycle support.
You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to define electrical requirements while managing component obsolescence and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electronic hardware for scientific instruments
Own PCB designs from concept through production
Manage component obsolescence and EOL activities
Support regulatory compliance and documentation
Collaborate to ensure design verification and manufacturing transition
Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
5+ years in electrical or hardware engineering
Solid board design and Altium experience
Understanding of end-of-life processes
Familiarity with embedded software and Python scripting
