We are currently recruiting a dependable and detail-oriented Factory Labourer for a full-time opportunity with one of our manufacturing clients located in Slemon Park. This is a temporary position, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and attendance.

The Factory Labourer will support the full production process involving the manufacturing and assembly of fiber optic cable assemblies and related components. This role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have solid attention to detail, and are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

THE JOB
Assist with the manufacturing and assembly of fiber optic cable assemblies and hardware
Perform visual quality checks and inspections to ensure product standards are met
Handle materials and components throughout various stages of production
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Follow all workplace safety policies and production procedures

$18.00/hour + 4% vacation pay
Temp-to-perm opportunity based on performance
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

REQUIREMENTS




Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Robust attention to detail, with valuable eyesight and steady hands (fine motor skills required)
Minimum 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Hands-on assembly experience is considered an asset
CSA-approved steel-toed safety shoes or boots
