This full time position requires dedication and a diploma or degree in a related field. You'll manage case plans, provide documentation, and facilitate group programming. With a commitment to a supportive and inclusive youth environment, you will engage with at-risk adolescents while navigating their complex needs and connecting them with community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise residents in the shelter for their safety • Complete accurate documentation in the Shelter Management Information System • Support youth in developing and managing case plans • Develop and evaluate group programming activities • Participate actively in daily shelter operations
Requirements: • Diploma or degree in a relevant field • Minimum 1 year experience with adolescents in shelter settings • Knowledge of issues facing homeless youth • Valid First Aid/CPR and UMAB certifications • Commitment to inclusive practices in service delivery
