This permanent, full time role involves strategic support for the Métis Nation Legislative Assembly and Provincial Métis Council. Reporting to the Director of Cabinet and Legislative Services, your efforts will enhance committee effectiveness.
You’ll handle meeting coordination, documentation, and follow-up on decisions while also liaising with government leaders and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer policy and procedural tasks for MNLA and PMC committees
Analyze and summarize key legislative issues
Prepare agendas, reports, and meeting minutes
Track and follow up on action items and recommendations
Communicate actively with elected officials and other stakeholders
Requirements:
Relevant post-secondary education
2–3 years of governmental or related experience
Excellent writing and organizational skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and similar applications
A valid driver’s license and criminal record check required
