As an Associate Scientist, you will be focused on supporting the advancement of the Multabody platform from discovery through preclinical development. This role includes using the latest technologies in protein expression/purification, bioanalytical techniques, and molecular biology to generate and QC high-quality Multabody therapeutics. This role is a fantastic prospect to make significant contributions towards the development of transformative therapies for patients who need them the most.

Key Responsibilities:

· Purify recombinant proteins using affinity chromatography, SEC and/or IEX on FPLC systems

· Maintain and transfect mammalian cells such as CHO or HEK293 cells

· Perform recombinant DNA activities, plasmid preparation, and bacterial transformation

· Perform analysis of purified proteins using HPLC and other biophysical instrumentation

· Utilize electronic systems for sample identification, processing, and tracking





· Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to established procedures

· Analyze, interpret and present results at team meetings

· Diligently maintain records of experimental data in Electronic Laboratory Notebook

Qualifications:

· Prior experience with protein expression and purification in mammalian transient or secure cell lines is a must-have

· Experience in tissue culture, protein purification and/or bioanalytical techniques

· Expertise in molecular biology techniques including plasmid DNA purification, SDS-PAGE and western blotting

· MSc degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Analytical Chemistry, or BSc degree with 2+ years of relevant working experience

· Previous experience in drug development in a pharma and/or biotech environment a robust plus
