Make a difference as a Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician in Kapuskasing, providing critical mental health support to young individuals. Engage in psychotherapy and counseling to foster emotional well-being.
In this full-time position, you will deliver clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents. A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should be registered with the appropriate qualified College and possess strong collaboration skills. Bilingualism (English/French) is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate psychotherapy and counseling sessions for youth • Perform detailed clinical assessments • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team • Maintain licensing and membership with relevant organizations • Communicate with families to support their needs
Requirements: • Preferred Master’s degree in social work or related fields • Registration required with the corresponding College • Bilingual (English/French) proficiency • At least a G2 driver's license upon application • Proven clinical skills in children’s mental health settings
