We are currently looking for a Shunter Operator to join our team in Laval.
What you will be responsible for : Move and position dry boxes (closed containers) around the yard;
Operate different shunter trucks and the tilt truck ("frog");
Move non-ferrous material bins to the appropriate areas;
Perform the necessary maneuvers to position trailers and containers;
Perform basic equipment checks before use;
Report any equipment issues or concerns to your supervisor;
Operate equipment safely and follow health and safety procedures;
Perform other duties related to yard operations as needed.
Qualifications You have a valid Class 5 driver's license;
You have experience driving heavy vehicles (asset);
You have experience in a similar position (asset);
You are comfortable maneuvering and driving in a yard;




You are safety-conscious and follow health and safety rules;
You are responsible, independent, and organized;
You enjoy working as part of a team;
You are bilingual in French and English (asset).
CA$35.00–CA$50.00 hourly
