We are hiring two skilled Martial Arts Instructors to facilitate our Learning Disabilities & Mental Health programs. You will utilize Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and mindfulness techniques to promote emotional regulation and positive mental health. The role involves collaboration, activity planning, and managing group dynamics to ensure each participant's diverse needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate martial arts training using varied techniques
• Collaborate with another instructor for program success
• Ensure activities are secure and engaging for participants
• Assess and manage risks during group sessions
• Communicate client concerns promptly to the Program Coordinator
Requirements:
• Proven experience in martial arts disciplines
• Facilitation experience with children and youth
• Solid communication and time-management skills
• Availability for evening programs at 46 St. Clair Gardens
• Requires Vulnerable Sector Check completion
