This role will focus on monthly review, oversight, compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple operating companies.

Approximately 10–15 hours per month

Responsibilities
Review monthly bookkeeping entries and reconciliations
Verify accuracy of financial reporting
Review and assist with:
HST filings
Payroll remittances
EHT obligations
Corporate tax planning/prepayments
Review AP and AR aging reports
Monitor cash flow reporting and account balances
Assist with monthly close procedures
Identify accounting inconsistencies or operational concerns
Help implement improved financial controls and processes
Coordinate with ownership and internal administration staff
Support preparation of clean, bank-ready financial statements
Qualifications
CPA designation preferred
Experience with service-based and/or construction accounting
Strong understanding of:
Job costing
Payroll remittances
Multi-entity accounting
Financial controls
QuickBooks Online
Robust organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and identify issues proactively
