In this exciting and rewarding role, you will conduct assessments, develop service plans, and provide personalized instruction in mobility skills. You will work collaboratively with clients and their support networks while actively participating in community awareness efforts surrounding vision health. Experience with vision loss support is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct O&M; assessments and establish personal goals
• Teach pre-cane skills and effective travel techniques




• Advocate for individuals’ mobility needs and facilitate community understanding
• Train others in the use of guide dogs and support materials
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and case data

Requirements:
• Certification in Orientation & Mobility from accredited programs
• Background in client support for vision disabilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven problem-solving skills in diverse settings
• Detail-oriented and organized with a commitment to service
