Support seniors’ engagement as a Recreation Aide at AgeCare Mount Royal in Calgary. Deliver recreational programs that uplift the lives of residents through social connections and activities.

This role focuses on planning and executing resident-centered recreation and leisure programs in collaboration with the Recreation Manager. Your expertise in building inclusive environments will enhance resident participation and well-being. Robust written and verbal skills are essential for maintaining communication and documentation with residents, families, and team members in a nurturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate engaging leisure programs
• Create welcoming settings for resident involvement




• Evaluate and document resident engagement levels
• Assist with transportation for outings and events
• Support daily program preparation and delivery

Requirements:
• Diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or equivalent
• Previous experience in senior leisure activities preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license to operate facility transport
• Must provide a transparent Vulnerable Sector Check
