Join ILS as a part time Attendant, focusing on empowering clients to live independently in their homes. This rewarding role involves supporting individuals with their daily living activities.
As part of a not-for-profit agency in Ontario, you will report to the Staffing Supervisor and provide critical non-medical support to adults with disabilities and senior clients. The position entails assisting with both instrumental and activities of daily living, ensuring tailored care according to individual service plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with personal and instrumental daily living activities • Deliver high quality support in accordance with care plans • Maintain a respectful and confidential environment • Use technology and equipment related to client care • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
Requirements: • Personal Support Worker Certification or equivalent work experience • First Aid and CPR level C Certification required • Clean driver’s license and personal vehicle needed • Robust problem-solving and communication abilities • Familiarity with disability issues and behavior management
