The Supervisor, Fleet Maintenance at Niagara Transit is tasked with managing the maintenance operations of transit garages, ensuring the safety and operational readiness of the fleet and equipment, including both conventional and specialized transit vehicles. The Supervisor has oversight of maintenance activities in accordance with legislative standards, including Provincial Regulations and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. They are accountable for the upkeep and repair of vehicles, facilities, and passenger amenities, as well as for organizing work schedules, enforcing safety programs, liaising with suppliers, and managing the maintenance management system.
