Join Lakeridge Health as a Temporary Full time Registered Practical Nurse. In this role, you will provide vital personal care and monitoring to patients at the Ajax-Pickering facility during 12-hour shifts.

As part of the LHAP 2N Medicine team, you will report to the Manager. Your key responsibilities will include assessing patient health, planning and implementing care, and administering medications in a family-centered care setting. Successful candidates should excel in high-pressure situations and demonstrate excellent patient interaction skills.

Key Responsibilities:



• Assess and monitor patient vital signs and conditions • Administer medications and monitor IV therapies • Set up necessary medical equipment efficiently • Educate patients and families about care and treatments • Document care plans and patient progress meticulously

Requirements: • Active certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario • Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical/surgical workplace • Current CPR and BCLS certifications • Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks • Commitment to Lakeridge Health’s safety practices
