Take on an impactful role as an Itinerant Speech Language Pathologist within Student Services at various schools. This full time role requires expertise in supporting students with speech and language challenges across diverse educational environments.
Effective from September 1, 2026, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology and possess a valid BC driver's license. The successful applicant will consult with school teams for assessments and program design, ensuring adherence to Ministry standards and skilled practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement assessment and intervention for diverse speech needs
• Collaborate with Speech and Language Teams to provide services
• Support AAC implementation for students with communication challenges
• Work with school-based teams to prioritize student needs
• Conduct training sessions for educators and parents
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology required
• Eligibility for College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferred experience with students with disabilities
• Solid report writing and consultation proficiency
