We are seeking an experienced Welding Technician with a strong understanding of welding principles. Key responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, laying out and fitting materials, and maintaining tolerances on all projects. Proficiency in using welding equipment, grinders, and other tools is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret engineered drawings and weld symbols • Layout and fit materials as per specifications • Operate grinders, torches, and plasma cutters safely • Follow written directions and QC plans accurately • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements: • Knowledge of SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding methods • Ability to work safely in a production workplace • Experience with forklifts, cranes, and other tools • Ability to follow written and oral instructions • Understanding of tolerances and their importance
