Fundy Veterinarians, Shubenacadie location, is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our patient care team. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated, possess robust interpersonal skills, and enjoy working collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia and monitor surgical procedures
Perform lab work and provide animal care
Work one evening per week, share Saturday mornings on a rotation.
Maintain accurate records using Avimark computer software
Qualifications:
Knowledgeable in anesthesia protocols, surgical monitoring, lab work, and animal nursing care
Solid teamwork and communication skills
Current graduates are welcome; mentoring available from our three experienced Technicians and RVT Hospital Manager.
Work Schedule:
Shared Saturday mornings
Regularly scheduled day off during the week for work/life balance (4 day work week)
