This role balances field leadership and operational planning, ensuring forestry activities align with regulatory standards and sustainable practices. Collaborating with Indigenous partners and regulatory bodies, the successful candidate will oversee timber harvesting, road maintenance, and permit management, making a significant impact on the local community.

Key Responsibilities:



• Plan operational forestry activities including harvesting and road work • Develop and administer Cutting and Road Permit applications • Oversee timber harvesting to meet production targets • Coordinate road construction and maintenance programs • Conduct field inspections for compliance and safety

Requirements: • Degree/Diploma in Forestry or related field • 5+ years of operational forestry experience • Registered or eligible with BC forestry specialists • Knowledge of forestry legislation and environmental compliance • Solid GIS and project management skills
