In this permanent, full time position, you will report to the Mechanical and Electrical Supervisor. The role requires hands-on experience in skilled trades, effectively conducting preventative and corrective maintenance. You will also complete installations and modifications while participating in an on-call rotation to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance on university equipment and building systems
• Complete installation of small projects and upgrades
• Participate in on-call rotation for repairs
• Maintain a valid driver’s license for university vehicle operations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Journeyman Steamfitter & Pipefitter or Plumber certification
• Knowledge in heating, cooling, and process piping systems
• Experience with water distribution and drainage systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and instructions
